I would add to this the ability to show your customers demos on your system if you want with the different server flavors and backends.

If you are planning on doing a lot of SQL Server development, you might want to opt for the Enterprise edition. Eventhough MSDE comes with VFP 7, it does not have the Enterprise Manager (as well as other tools) which can very helpful if you are interest in learning DBA stuff too.
