One would hope that there is some way within MS to get important information improved.

Hopefully someone more intimate with MS procedures in this regard will answer with the procedure to do so.

It does not solve the problem if the screen's foreground is any color other than black also. In addition, the title of the KB article is not very well worded for searchers with the same problem--I would never have searched for gray background in Windows 95 or Windows NT. It was occurring in Windows 98 machines too by the way! We tested it.
