I am using photographs in a database for the first time. Ideally, I would like to save jpg images, or references to jpg images in a table. In either case, I would like that image to show up on a form, and refresh as I browse through the table.

What is the best way to handle this? Using the actually image in a General field as an OLE object, or simply saving a reference to the file in a field, and then somehow getting that image file to appear and refresh on the form.

Please note that my goal is to save the photographic image as field item in a table, i.e., I am not using pictures or BMP files that get reused in a form such as the pictures you see on buttons.
