That's strange. I would think that if it could handle your last name, then Russian and Hebrew would be nothing ;)

Then again, I get confused trying to write Massachewshuts or whatever that state is you're in.

Sorry I wans't any help. I guess it's one of those cobination of things you may never find out.

>>I have Office 2000. But, it sounds like your spelling dictionary is messed up around the area of that word. I say this because Word does not check your spelling as you type a new word (or delete a word and retype it). It waits for a space, a carriage return or punctuation. Well, at least the default setting is to "check spelling as you type."
>>
>>If a word is misspelled already it looks at it while your typing to see if you've fixed it. If you have it set so that it draws the red line under your misspelled words, this is easy to see.
>>
>>If my theory is correct then you could reproduce this in a new smaller document, but have the same word misspelled the exact same way.
>>
>>Let me know what you find out.

>>>Hi everybody,
>>>
>>>I have a huge Word Document. I noticed a typo in one word, which is in annotations. I tried to correct it and Word crashed. I re-opened this document and tried it again - and got another crash.
>>>
>>>I have Word 97. What could be the problem here?
>>>
>>>Update. I opened it again, deleted this word and retyped it and problem went away... I will save this document every time I made a change...
