I've not done much with using commercial frameworks. I prefer to "roll my own". The only time I had any exposure to commercial frameworks was when I was independent and several of my clients had apps that used frameworks. Although, from what I hear, a *lot* of people are eagerly awaiting Kevin's new framework.
