Because I have some memory of someone reporting a bug that was 'solved' by including an equal-sign with a function call where there previously was none, I have since made it a habit to always code the "=" in front of function/method call.

>The "=" sign is required in FoxPro and VFP 3. It can usually be omitted in VFP 5 or later, except for a few specific functions, notably seek(), where there can be confusion with the equally-named SEEK comand.
