I'm looking at filters.txt with the aim of having a central point to maintain these to keep everyone's systems clear of obnoxious mail.

However mine doesn't seem to work too well so it's hard to test. I've followed the syntax of the existing entries and some emails get cleared but others don't.

At first I thought it was something to do with html email and I've realised that plain text emails are escaping the filter. For example I have:
Body contains "basetel.com"

in my filters but this morning I got a plain text email with basetel.com in it. The microsoft site is worse than useless at explaining how to really work this file & google searches are inexact so I was wondering if there was anyone here with experience with this.
