A very happy New year to all

I'm writing (or trying to) a small app to run on a company network. This app handles telex communications (via proprietary systems) and faxing. What I would like to include is the ability to send internet e-mail (is receiving possible ??). that would mean that users start the "Comms" app and leave it running all day, without the need for switching to other e-mail clients.

Can anyone suggest where I might find a program/OCX or the like ?
