Craig,
I'm not wrong here. YOU are.
1. Where did you read in my message that I'd like to be a beta tester? FYI I don't want.
2. I know ANYONE can be a beta tester and the rules that apply. See the wiki page
WhatAboutVisualFoxPro7Beta2 (last updated 2001.03.29 - wich means that I know about beta testers for at least one year). FYI I started that page.
3. Where did you read in my message that I said only DevCon attendees will get the beta? I wrote:
"The only way to obtain the Visual FoxPro 8.0 beta is to be already on the beta list or get a copy by attending DevCon". Ken said that (see message 694806), not me.
If you are not a beta tester then the only chance to get a beta copy of VFP 8.0 is going to DevCon, right?

betareq@microsoft.com. You'll get an autoreply with information on how to do this. Its too late for VFP8, but not for 9. Note that applying does not mean acceptance.

>Ken has never said that only DevCon attendees will get the beta. What MS has done in the past is have two groups that get the beta. Group 1 is the official beta sites. These are the people accepted from applying for the beta. Group 2 is DevCon attendees. I assume the same will be true for the VFP8 beta.
