I have developed several applications in foxpro (originally in DOS V2.0 the went to V2.5 DOS then 2.5 win then 2.6) and was shocked by the
huge amount of recoding and the learning curve of VFP. The thought of stopping all development and spending 6 months recoding was scarry.

In any case, I must now decide on whether to spend the effort to go to VFP - especially if Microsoft is really planning on killing Foxpro in favour of its fat baby Access.

I also must go to SQL server - is VFP a good front end, and how does it compare with DELPHI or ACCESS, my two other options to move my systems to...

Any info would be appreciated...

PS - I sure did love my FP V2.6 - all good things must come to an end...
