Tom,

The funny thing is I almost guessed the LA Angels and the LA Stars instead of the tongue-in-cheek answers I gave. And they were just going to be wild guesses. Pretty wild. Oh, Oakland Oaks sounds familiar. Never cared for the Angels (don't care about AL teams). Hate the Yankees the most!

I listen to KKSF 103.7 smooth jazz over the internet while I work sometimes. Can't find an LA station I like on the internet. As close to home as I am gonna get for now.

I also watched Pele play and George Best sounds familiar too. We had the World Champion Rowdies back in those days here in Tampa Bay. It was a great spectacle. Over 50,000 fans packed the stadium each and every game. The team was amazing and so was their marketing team. After the Rowdies left the league and we got the Mutiny, I gave up going to the games. I don't think we have a team any more.

I don't bother going to the Devil Rays games (AL). They are worse than the 1962 Mets! And they only know how to lose. They have been losing every year since they started. They remind me of the Tampa Bay Bucs losing their first 27 straight games. I used to wear a paper bag over my head at the Bucs games in the late 70s that said "Yucs" on it. And a hat that said, "Bye Bye McKay!"

Fond memories and great moments in sports. Remember Crazy George from KC who showed up at soccer games beating his war drum?
