>Using VFP7 I have created a COM object that I instantiate on an NT4 (SP6) Server. It includes a substantial SQL that fails with error 1150. I tried limiting the buffer size with SYS(3050) but it makes no difference. Any ideas as to what else I can try?

I've only seen this error with very large intermediate join result sets and very limited memory resources; the file map is the bitmap of included records resulting from a JOIN created internally by the SQL SELECT. What is the approximate data set sizes involved, is the WHERE expression optimizable, and what's the available disk space for VFP to throw up temporary result sets?
