Wrox has come out with quite a few of these Handbooks for VB .NET, covering all kinds of specific topics (Security, Threading, Strings, etc.). Even if you aren't a VB .NET developer, they provide very good content. One, for example, covers Text Manipulation, giving all kinds of examples for Regular Expressions. When I am coding in C# or VB .NET, I have referenced these resources often.
