Hi,

I am planning to develop an small application that allows the user to share data from two different computers attached by the parallel port of the printer, and send (or copy) the data contained in a Hard drive of PC1 to the Hard Disk of PC2...

Why do you want to do this? These days a couple of network cards will almost certainly cost less than a parallel cable, perform a 100 times faster and be *far* less likely to introduce file corruption. Plus you only need one line of code<g>

However if you want you *can* use a parellel port connection as an network connection on WIN95 & Win98 boxes via DCC (Direct Cable Connect) - see MSDN Q298446
