VFP7. Send and receive Zip via Zmodem. We do use Kermit for other payers when Zmodem is not available - except for Kermit server (one payer in one state still has an ancient kermit server implementation that should disappear when they migrate to HIPAA compliant format). Zero user control allows all transmissions and downloads to all of the various payers the same - no extra training. 100% automation.

The CommTools approach allowed us to control the app and not have another variable in the loop. That way when we run into issues we can control with an update to the app and not the PCAnywhere script - but each to his/her own.
