it is a new module in an existing system. so i could use a framework. i am actually trying to implement an n-tier system with an interface, business rules, data layers where the data layer and business layer work off ADO recordsets to enable more then one type of database. it's just getting to the interface (which i also want to be interchangeable) that i am not sure how to handle the recordsets.
