A client was calling me every other day wanting me to design another report for them. I think I could have made a full-time job out of creating reports. <s>

I purchased FoxFire and included it in the application and trained a few people how to use it. They love it.

Their management was also concerned about me being a "one-man" shop, if something happened to me. Now that they have in-house capability to design new reports, that concern went away. This opened the door for more new projects for me.

When management believes their successful operation is dependent on one person, they tend to get a little nervous and start looking for other solutions. You have to put yourself in their shoes. Try to understand their situation.

A good question to ask yourself is....If I took a month off, would the people using the program be able to do everything they needed/wanted to do.
