There are many sources, which you can find in libraries as I did when I did my master’s thesis. Librarians are a great source to find any literature or reference material.

Studying Anthropology and Psychology are useful I found in developing my viewpoint. I have met people literally from all over the world. We have much in common as humans with similar wants and needs.

I think conflict exist as the human condition. A more recent example is my best friend Victor, whom I have known since I was a teenager. Victor’s father would call my mother from time to tell mom what Victor had done. He would always end his comments with, “ah the younger generation”! This was his belief that we were hopeless.

About 30 years later Victor was talking about his two college age daughters and ended with, “ah the younger generation”! I said, “Victor, we sound like your father”!

The point is we seem to have the same interests and concerns dependent upon what stage of life we enjoy as those who came before us. Trying to change that would require changing human nature and is not within the realm of science. At least not at this moment (I hope).
