That's a good idea, or just create an Array of record #s and associated User IDs for 'checked out' records, fast and efficient...

>Soft locking works good for me. In this app, there's no reason to have the record physically locked. It's good enough to essentially mark it as being "checked out" by a person. I'm going to try the suggestion from another thread of putting the "checked out" records in another table, which eliminates the need for the extra TABLEUPDATE().
