I have gone to using GoFish to do all my searches. You can find it at file #9925. It can search for a string in all the files within a VFP project and/or a particular directory. It is able to directly edit the found strings which are automatically recompiled. And, it has the option of Auto-Replacing the found strings with another string. This utility is compiled in VFP 6.0, works for VFP and 2.x files.
