There are many ways of implementing conflict resolution. The most appropriate method will depend upon your application's requirements. However, in order to illustrate how you might implement it we have created a class named "UpdRes" (in the UpdRes.vcx library). This consists of a form, which has methods to create and populate a local cursor with the three required values for all fields causing a conflict. It implements a combination of the "Current User Sometimes Wins" and the "Current User Decides" strategies (Figure 8.6).
