Cryptor does not seem to slow matters hugely. However, as it says in the docs, your choice of encryption depth affects this. A fairly shallow level puts most snoops off FWIW, with no idea how it is encrypted they give up.
Konxise (also from xitech) is your best bet to protect your code. It both compresses and encrypts your exe files. unlike other compression systems, it does not unpack your code into a temp file where it can be accessed, it unpacks into memory. Again, snoops have no idea what it is and give up- it is no longer a VFP executable at all. FWIW we used to distribute a master exe with many app modules, now we have one 8Mb executable that Konxise packs down to about 1.3Mb which was the size of the original master exe.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
