>We have been testing the installation of VFP 7.0 using Wise Installer. As part of the installation MSXML3R.DLL is written to the XP system directory. This Wise version of this file is 8.20.9370.0 and the XP version is 8.20.9307.1. The version 8.20.9307.1 is 10 bytes larger than the other file.

Jim,
Can you configure Wise so that it doesn't overwrite files with new versions? I think there is a setting for this f a target file already exists. The default may be to always overwrite.
