If there are showing up one at a time, then it really does point towards changing her colors. I suspect she, or some software did and she didn't know she did. She may have selected a theme that did it. I'd double check.

On the display properties screen, Appearance tab, click on the word "Normal". The item field should change to "Menu". Is the font color set to black?


>Hi. I have a Win98 user with a pull-down menu problem. Seems as if the menus (Word, Excel, etc) are present, but totally blank. As she arrows down the blank Find or Edit or Tools, etc. the menu options appear 1 by 1 as the cursor sets focus on them. Ideas? ps: she did not change her colors.
