How can you interrupt such update? I solved the problem by symply using reccount() and putting table in the natural order... Of course, it's not precise, especially if there are deleted records in the table, but users didn't yet complain, so I assume, it's allright...

>I obviously don't know what the Global Replace form does but would an SQL - Update do the same thing? In this case a SET TALK ON, UPDATE..., SET TALK OFF would supply you with your progress bar. I guess in this case I assume you want to update the source tables.
