Hilmar,
I was unable to find this program on the site...
I also installed QuickTime from the site, Fabio gave me, but it still doesn't have uninstall option...

>In general, this is fairly difficult. Some specialized "cleanup" programs exist, but I don't know of any freeware.

>> I want to uninstall QuickTime programs. I don't know, how it was installed originally, but its PictureViewer registers iteself for JPG format. However, it doesn't show pictures and it's extremelly annoying. I want to uninstall this beast, but didn't find how so far...

>For associations, I would suggest you get the program "Freedom of Association" from pcmag. It is free, but you have to register as a member.

>If the problem is that the program launches automatically, without your consent, there are several utilities - also freeware - to check the startup. The difficulty (if you don't have such a program) is that there are several ways to load a program automatically - certain INI files, the Startup menu, and a host of registry entries.

>PC Magazine (
www.pcmag.com) also has a freeware program for this - I think it was Startup Cop.

>HTH, Hilmar.
