I could not find "ThumbCtl Class" in my list of activeX controls so I guess that explains a lot:) I'll have to try your recommendations for manually registering it.

>Yes, this control must be listed in Controls Tab as "ThumbCtl Class". Probably you have not installed Active Desktop for Windows. IE 5.0 and higher only updates Active Desktop if it already installed. You need to install IE 4.0 first and upgrade it to IE5. This problem was described in KB.
