Going by experience with VS.Net, Windows XP, Office XP, Visio 2002, Windows.Net Server, SQL Server, etc etc, Microsoft usually charges around $10 (Australian) for their trial CDs, That is unless you get it in a paid for package like the Direct Access Action Pack where they give you all the "Partner Guides" with your subscription. - So they aren't usually "free" anyway.

And on the issue of present users not wanting a trial version, alot of companies, like ours, won't even get the upgrade unless the management can physically see the improvements (Listing features on the VFP site isn't good enough - Management needs to see it working for *us* and at the moment they can with VS.Net).
