You can set the filter in the command line with the "/filter" switch.

Hi Alan,
I found that if you open MSDN Library, Tools/Options/Web Browser clear the Use default for Home Page and use:
ms-help://MS.MSDNQTR.2002OCT.1033/fox7help/html/vfp7startpage.htm
