I had the same problem about a month ago, VFP7 SP1. I posted the code to reproduce it and everybody who tried was able to crash the fox. Even Mike Stewart (Microsoft) confirmed it. Apparently it doesn't happen in VFP8 or VPF6, but every time in VFP7 - worse yet, there are no additional service packs planned for VFP7. Your options are to go back to VFP6, recode in VFP7, or wait for 8.
