Dana,

I've got a customer using client access. From within vfp I sometimes use rtopcb (remote copy to pc) (all the as400 files are old and most of them cannot be accessed with remote views)

Slowdown from rtopcb is not an issue unless you constantly send megabytes over the network.

What I noticed though is that when a pc has Client Access installed, the pc's cpu is never idle. Client Access is eating all the free cycles. But that cannot be the cause in my opinion.

Success
Gregory
