>I'm trying out my accounting app on Win 2000 server accessed by multiple users via Win 98 clients.
>Basically the program and database directories are put into a shared folder from the server.
>When sharing out the directory from Windows 2000, I noticed there's a caching button which allows the directory to be set to 3 caching options(Manual, automatic Program, automatic Document).
>My app is designed whereby the program and database sits under a common root directory that is shared out.
>Any suggestion as to what's the best caching options and their implications on the speed of data retrieval and data integrity (Concurrency).
>Thanks in advance
