This appears to be something that was placed in the control but never fleshed out. I'm getting ready to do more research. Please realize that Ed Leafe has made many, many modifications. It's going to take some time for me to catch up with what he's done.

Ed, in his zeal to remove any classes with the letters savi in them has removed the cSAVICtl.VCX from the framework. I'm going to fire up some old servers and see if I can't find that old code, migrate it over to one of the existing class libraries and get an update out there.
