How true. Better yet – have a good attorney and lots of money to protect your copyright! A friend of mine went through this experience and his product was copyrighted. He "won", and got a $60,000 bill from his attorney. Condidering that was more than his annual sales there was a bit of an imbalance felt. Winning is not everything. For attorneys it does not matter if you win or loose. Just pay the man! :)
