I agree that Amyuni PDF converter is a better product than win2pdf. It is much faster. I printed out a general ledger of about 300 pages for viewing and Amyuni took about 8 seconds, while win2pdf took a little over 30 second to perform the same report. Also, Amyuni has more functionality. If I do a VFP report and select Amyuni as the printer, then select properties, I can chose image compression, multi-language, font embedding, convert color to gray scale, destination to file or email, etc. If I chose destination to email a form allow me to enter recipients, cc, bcc, subject, message which is in html, etc. It is a very good product. Also I can chose to have the file overwritten without a warning. Win2pdf displays a dialog asking whether it's ok to overwrite the previously displayed report each time I run a new report. As you know, Amyuni also allows reports to be generated programmically. I downloaded your PDF class about a year ago and used some of the code with Amyuni to generate some PDF reports and it really works.

In my accounting application I am presently developing a form with links to Adobe, Amyuni, and win2pdf and it will be up to the individual to chose which PDF converter best mets their needs. Win2pdf would be just fine to use with my application to view, search, or email reports. For normal printing, the user could select the default printer. It appears that any added functionality come at a price. Here is the cost of the three PDF drivers for a single user standard license.

I will consider Rick's solution when it is done for possible inclusion in my application. If it has all the functionality of the other offerings and is affordable, I might go to it.

In considering which product best mets the users need, the user must take into consideration that the PDF drivers that install as printers can also be used with any other products like word, excel, etc., etc.
