Help me build the grid if you have time, as this is a first for me. The specs for the grid is a the Child table that has a field titled Category that is related to the Grandchild table. In the grandchild table is a field titled Descript that is a description of what the Category is. I need these two fields in the Grid (the child field Category, and the Grandchild descript). I might eventually add some other fields to the grid after I get it working correclty.

I have placed a grid (grdGridCustom) control on the form, and edited the two columns to use CodeMine txtTxtBoxCustom controls per the doc's. I set lRefreshOnRowChange to .T. per doc's, and its cWorkArea to the child table. In column 1 I set the ControlSource to mychildtable.category. Would I set column 2 to mygrandchild.descript or what?

Thanks for your help. In running the form, the grid comes up empty as I figured I am missing something on this first try.
