I have switched to RH 8.0. I like it. I know a lot of people are upset regarding the window manager but I think RH is doing us all a service in it's attempt to present a standard user interface. I like the interface. But at the moment I would like the old Rpm's interface (packages). The new OS only shows what they (RH) wants you the user to see. I want to see it all. I'm guessing that the old "packages" program can still be run - I just don't know the name of the program. When I have some time I'll find it and get it running.
