>Does that mean I can't send emails to
info@levelextreme.com simply because my email address (which is exactly the same address that you get when you click the envelope near my name) is from a bad neighborhood? In that case, your spam filter throws away a few babies along with bath water.
It costs more in several aspects to accept those than to not accept them. So, the decision is easy to take. Like I said, if the SMTP server you are using is blacklisted, there are two options. The first one is to try to have the server owner to do their work and adjust the situation. If they haven't done it so far, then, that shows how responsible they are. If they haven't done it and that's intentional then it may well be that they know that one of their server is used to spam the world. So, in either case, I would consider using a more adequate server to send your emails if this can't be adjusted. For us, we stopped accepting mails from a few servers since a few months now and this helps us a lot in several server/client management issues we have to deal with.
