Hi everyones,

I'm using HTML Help Workshop 1.1 to design a custom help system for my application. Because the appliation includes many modules I would like to split the help into small .chm files and "join" them together once everything is done.

For example I would have;

PAYROLL.chm
GL.chm
AP.chm
etc.

EVERYTHING.chm

My ideas is that EVERYTHING.chm merely include a "content" file and an "index" file and that it will somehow open the other .chm file when needed. OR that I would be able to compile many help project into a single .chm file.

I tried the "merge" function but either I don't use it correctly, either it's not doing what I would like it to do. With merge, I had to add every adn all (hundreds...) htm files into EVERYTHING.chm also It doesn't use the other .chm at all but instead I had to place every *.hhc (contents files) and *.hhk (index files) in the user directory alogn with EVERYTHING.chm

Anybody has an idea or a comment on the subject?

Thanks,
Diane Robitaille
