It is a difference in the behavior and setup of the Generic/Text Only Printer under Win9x and WinNT-derived OSes; specifically, the setup of the Generic/Text Only Printer under Win2K. Have your tech open up the Printers applet, right click on the Generic/Text Only Printer, and select Properties. A very different Property sheet than what appears under Win98 will appear. In order to enable several font sizes, it will be necessary to define the escape sequences to use for the font sizes you wish to support - they'll need to visit and set the Device Settings, Printer Commands and Font Selection tabs in order to use anything but the default 10CPI/80x66 page layout.

You'll also want to clear the Expr, Tag and Tag2 fields of the first record of the FRX to ensure that none of the Win9x behaviors carry over to the customer's system, and their printer configuration detail is used.

The same applies to XP systems.
