I am used to using pcAnywhere for remote control. Can I actually use it to connect to the internet? The file I need is placed on an FTP server... using a simple batch file and FTP commands / script I am able to download the file. The FTP server does not have pcAnywhere, but the W2K workstation does have pcAnywhere... I am really green when it comes to pcAnywhere scripting and how it would work to accomplish this. I was hoping to use VFP to check the date of the file (use ftp to do a directory to a text file and use VFP to check the contents of the text file) and then cancel the download if the file is the same as when it was last downloaded. Thanks for your help here.
