We aren't even targeting the Pocket PC OS as a development platform, only its browser.

>It gets more interesting from an enterprise perspective. Not only does "X" not shut down, but MSFT also manages all the memory. So lets say you have APPX, APPY, APPK all running. Then you minimizes all these apps using the "X" and then you start a memory hungry CAD program. One by one MSFT shuts down APPX, APPY, APPK in MSFT order and in MSFT own way to make room for CAD. Now you have the user confused by "X" and then they have gotten used to being able to leave a screen and come back instantly but after the big CAD program starts these apps have been automatically closed by the operating system without notification to the user. Ouch - I can hear the support now.

>Further, in Pocket PC 2002, if you want certification (MSFT Pocket PC 2002) you can not have a Quit button in your application. This means some very careful thought has to be put into any database application and what "edit" or "add" mode means.
