Yes, hmm..., we have developed an application using VFP, EVBasic, accessing ActiveSync to transfer file information from VFP client to Pocket PC 2002. VFP handles the post from desktop to server. After working for a time with ActiveSync (or maybe our understanding of it) we are convinced it is THE BEAST!

Also, forget CEDB! It has few data types and is slow. SQL Server for CE is the only way to go but it works with IIS so...

When you say browser do you mean having the wireless or wired (tcp/ip) Pocket PC 2002 accessing a web page and launching whatever functionality from that point?
