I feel like I understand what you are recommending, but you'll have to pardon me. I use formsets exclusively and am never concerened with Datasessions or Datasession IDs. All of my forms use a private datasession. You indicate by setting the datasession of the child form to 1-Default Data Session it would automatically share the DE of the parent. How so? Wouldn't you have to manually change the datasessionId of the child form to equal the datasession id of the parent form in order for them to share the same DE? And then, wouldn't you have to manually release the initial datasessionId assigned to the child form?

Just trying to understand...
