That pose problem here in Canada, where the health care system is free to every citizen. Smokers cost a lot in health care. So we have to make some though decisions because of them: do we increase the already high taxes or we live with a health care where it takes over 6 months to have a heart operation and where the majority of doctors don't take new clients?
What do you do about second smoke? There is a televised ad here that tell the story of a 50-something woman who will die in the next 6 months or so of a smoker-related cancer. The thing is, she never smoked. She worked in a smoker environment.
>I think people shouldn't smoke and that they should eat a healthy diet. But society has no right to force them to so do IMO.
