Simply because I only use formsets. Some of my formsets contain only one form if that is what's called for in the application, but for purposes of uniformity and reusability I use formset classes for everything.
You said "...another detractor" from the implementation. What others have been cited. I'm just concerned that there may be more mythology than substantive fact being bantered around about formsets and their capabilities and "limitations". New VFP developers read this stuff and assume that formsets are bad, when in fact, having tried both approaches, I feel they are superior and allow me to use VFP a manner in which it was intended. I certainly don't feel, as stated in one reply, that formsets were only included for backward compatibility with screens sets in previons verions and would not evolve. That is, or should be, nonsense.
