James,

I guess we didn't make your 24 hour deadline.

I've scanned the standard VFP error messages and the error you state is NOT in them. I guess it's coming from an error handler in the program???? (I also can't guess how one would "revert" a corrupted index)

I can't recollect anyone else reporting a similar problem here, so I am most suspicious of something in your code.

good luck

>Hi Jim this may be the second version of this message. If so, I apologise.
>The code for the <= is in the 'click' of the bid amount field. If the amount entered is the same or below an exisiting bid, corresponding error messages are generated.
>The only error message about the corupted index I get (on a stand alone machine as well) is 'CIDauct' has been corrupted" then I am presented with an option to 'revert'. I is becoming PITA.
>Thanks all for your continuing help. You are prolonging my sanity.
