>Office 11 is schedule for release in June 2003, but I have read article about the beta currently being tested. Office has really been a fast moving product not to have changed much since office 97. There have been 5 upgrades of office over the past 8 years, all marketed as must have versions by Microsoft. I wonder if Office 11 is now completely dependent on the .Net framework. I think the market will be slow in adopting it. Office 11 will only run under 2000/XP OS.
There is a whole bunch of 95, 98, NT systems all around me... major market loss for MS to promte the .NET.
Are they going too fast for the market now? Or is the market too slow ($$$$).
