A big selling point for me is: the product can be distributed 'royalty free', unlike some of the others mentioned. It is unfortunate that they don't have an evaluation copy. I have requests for a report writer occasionally and I would like to include something like this in my product. I doubt that very many of my users would actually use it, but it is a selling point. I don't use the foxpro report writer.
I have been burned by 'promised' software, so I would not buy unless I see good feedback from current users.

>Foxfire is a wizard style report writer that slaps together a VFP report file. It's not a bad idea at all... in fact, it's quite good and rather popular.

>ReportEase is a true WYSIWYG tool. So we, as developers, can make reports AND also expose the designer to end-users for all those custom changes they will want.
