As I read you post. I can take the client server apps I have in VFP and deploy them as thin clients? At the same time I can create portlets of my software, and portlets of various third party software, and deploy them in a common end user environment where the end user is in a self administered portal environment?

From there I can create Web enabled front end adding new reporting and data collection systems for the web directly using VFP scripting, while taking advantage of the data access tools of VFP on the back-end.

How much .ASP, Java etc would I have to pick-up? Either to get my applications on the web or to tap into the third party apps already web enabled? Can they be brought into a central security / administrative system?

It would seem like a solution to the issues I am having.
